My Run Book

Your running story,
told from your own data.

For iPhone. Reads running workouts from Apple Health.
Free to start. Every premium feature is free to try.

Ask a question about your runs in Apple Health and see the answer as a personalized chart. Easily sort and browse your full run history and track progress against your goals. My Run Book turns your running into a story you can read and understand.

Analysis

Ask about your runs. See the data behind the answer.

“How has my pace changed on runs over 10k this year?”

Type the question the way you'd say it out loud. My Run Book builds the chart or table that answers it from your own runs. Pin the ones worth keeping and they stay updated with every new run.

The Analysis tab showing two pinned charts, average pace against heart rate and pace by date, above a plain-English question box. The Analysis tab showing two pinned charts, average pace against heart rate and pace by date, above a plain-English question box.

A running record.

Sort and browse your runs by date, distance, pace, or duration. Take notes on the context the numbers miss: new shoes, a sore knee, or a stressful week.

The History tab showing a monthly mileage chart, this month's distance, average pace, and run count, above filter chips and a list of recent runs. The History tab showing a monthly mileage chart, this month's distance, average pace, and run count, above filter chips and a list of recent runs.
History

Know if you're on track.

One screen shows your week, your month, your running goal, and your training load. You set the goals. AI is there to help if you want it.

The Status tab showing runs and miles this week against the weekly plan, the month against its goal, and a fatigue and recovery read. The Status tab showing runs and miles this week against the weekly plan, the month against its goal, and a fatigue and recovery read.
Status

What you get, and what it costs.

Your history, your status, your goals, and your notes are free, with no account and no trial countdown clock. Every premium feature is free to try first, with an allowance rather than a timer. After that, some keep a smaller monthly allowance on the free tier, and training plans need Premium.

Before you download.

Does My Run Book record your runs?
No. My Run Book reads running workouts already saved in Apple Health by your watch or your phone. New runs are picked up whenever you open the app. There's nothing to start and nothing to log twice.
Is there an Apple Watch app, or route maps?
No. My Run Book is an iPhone app for reading and analyzing runs you have already recorded, and doesn't read or store where you ran. No maps, no segments, no turn by turn.
What about cycling, swimming, or the gym?
Running only. Other workout types in Apple Health are left alone.
Do you need an account?
No account, no email address, and no password. Everything My Run Book stores lives on your phone.
How much running history do you need?
My Run Book reads whatever Apple Health already has, so a long history gives you more to look at. A few recorded runs are enough to see your week, your month, and your first chart.
Is there anything you want that isn't here?
Write to myrunbookapp@gmail.com. We read everything that comes in, and we answer.

You've already run it.
Now read it.
